This article presents an in-depth scientifc analysis of the legal and institutional foundations for the developmentof share trading in Uzbekistan, identifying the dominant role of banks and large fnancial institutions in the stock market.
The study substantiates the need to align the existing regulatory framework with modern international standards,
strengthen institutional infrastructure, and introduce mechanisms to enhance investor confdence.
