This article examines how digital technologies are transforming culinary tourism by connecting tourists, restaurants, and
major technology platforms. The study focuses on the concept of the “Digital Gastronome,” which reflects the growing role of mobile
applications, online reviews, social media, artificial intelligence, location-based services, and digital booking platforms in shaping foodrelated
travel experiences. The article analyzes how tourists use digital tools to discover restaurants, plan gastronomic routes, share
dining experiences, and make informed choices. It also highlights the opportunities created by digital transformation, including wider
access to local cuisine, improved restaurant visibility, personalized recommendations, and support for culinary innovation. At the same
time, the study identifies key challenges such as data privacy concerns, digital inequality, reliance on large digital platforms, and the risk
of weakening culinary authenticity. The findings show that responsible use of technology can enrich culinary tourism while preserving
local food traditions and cultural identity
