This article analyzes the challenges and opportunities associated with enhancing the financial capacity of
higher education institutions in Uzbekistan through the introduction of modern financial instruments. It explores the
national structure of higher education financing and international best practices, focusing on university endowment funds,
modern financial instruments and platforms, and strategies for the commercialization of intellectual property. Strategic
recommendations are developed with consideration of Uzbekistan’s specific conditions and needs
