This study examines the influence of customer behavioral factors on the risks associated with bank card usage in the context of the digitalization of banking services. Particular attention is paid to customers’ financial literacy and cybersecurity awareness, bank card usage patterns, responses to suspicious messages and links, and compliance with security requirements when conducting digital transactions. Statistical and correlation analyses are employed to assess the relationship between customers’ awareness levels and their behavior in potentially fraudulent situations. The findings identify key behavioral factors contributing to card-related risks and provide recommendations for improving risk management mechanisms by incorporating customer behavioral characteristics into the monitoring and prevention of fraudulent transactions. Keywords
