The article examines the theoretical and practical aspects of developing the competencies of creative industry professionals in the monetization of products and services. Based on an analysis of international academic research and the specific characteristics of Uzbekistan’s creative industries, the competencies required to transform creative products and services into economic value are systematized. Drawing on the author’s approach, four priority competency blocks are proposed: market research, business planning, and financial management; creative product design, national cultural code, and branding; digital creative technologies, e-commerce, and audience development; and exports, intellectual property, and access to international markets. The study substantiates that the integrated development of these competencies can contribute to strengthening the economic sustainability of creative industry entities and enhancing their competitiveness in national and international markets. Keywords
