Abstract

This study examines the relationship between key macroeconomic indicators and tax revenues in Uzbekistan.
The research focuses on GDP growth, inflation, investment growth, exchange rate changes, and their potential influence
on tax revenue dynamics. The study applies comparative, statistical, correlation, and analytical methods using macroeconomic
data for 2020–2024. The findings indicate that economic growth and investment activity are positively associated
with tax revenue growth, while inflation and exchange rate fluctuations have more complex effects. The analysis
demonstrates that the expansion of the tax base, increased economic activity, and the digitalization of tax administration
can contribute to sustainable growth in government revenues. The study concludes that effective tax policy should take
macroeconomic conditions into account and balance fiscal objectives with incentives for business activity
