Abstract

Issues related to improving the mechanisms for organizing procurement processes in
Uzbekistan’s initiative budget system based on an electronic register are examined. The study analyzes price
disparities, low-quality procurement practices, and factors affecting the efficiency of budget fund utilization
during the implementation of initiative budget projects. Particular attention is paid to the role of procurement
procedures organized through an electronic register approved by the relevant ministries in ensuring the rational
use of budget resources, enhancing transparency, and strengthening public oversight. Based on the findings,
scientific proposals and practical recommendations for improving procurement processes within the initiative
budget system are developed.
