This article analyzes the technological aspects and statistical metrics of biogas generation and its practical
implementation within Uzbekistan’s green energy framework. The study evaluates the substantial potential for recovering
energy from agricultural and industrial organic waste under local conditions. Special emphasis is placed on assessing
the efficiency of advanced biogas upgrading systems, specifically Autogenerative High-Pressure Digestion (AHPD) and
Pressure Vacuum Swing Adsorption (PVSA). Furthermore, the role of biomethane in ensuring energy security, mitigating
environmental impacts, and enhancing economic efficiency is thoroughly examined. Based on the statistical assessment
and research findings, practical recommendations are proposed to accelerate the development of the sustainable biogas
sector in Uzbekistan.
